This may be the last year that Rose sleeps in until 8am on Christmas morning, but we enjoyed it. After Grandma and Grandpa arrived and Rose went to play outside, Santa made a quick visit with the following result:
Rose also got a very nice doll from her grandparents (which in typical toddler fashion, she wanted to put in and take out of its box ad infinitum). She was so busy playing that she did not want to take her raincoat off.
(Mom thought that the Christmas gifts this year were unintentionally heavily weighted towards gender-stereotype toys and has vowed to get Rose a toy tool kit next holiday!)
