It may technically be a demotion, to go from playing Baby Jesus to being a Lamb, but Rose handled it well. (Her mom got to be a shepherd.)
Not only did Rose agree to wear the costume, but she did not want to take it off.
The best part of Rose's evening was a Christmas Eve story and chance to play with Grandma and Grandpa.
