Rosie is expressing more and more autonomy via her fashion choices. She has not quite figured out choosing her own outfits, but she likes to, uh, embellish the ones she's got.
Exhibit A: Attempts to make Rose wear a shirt were met with, "Off! Off!"
But she insisted on a woolen hat.
Exhibit B: She just kept bringing me items of clothing from the laundry pile and saying, "On!" The result-- a skirt over her shorts and PJs on top of it all.
And of course she refused any help putting on her shoes.
Exhibit C: Today she wanted to wear this dress over another outfit.
But it all kind of works.
