Peter at 8 months

 

 

New this month:  -increased mobility (scooting, almost army-crawl) 
-2 new teeth, bringing his total to 5, with a 6th hot on their heels
-has really upped his volume when he shrieks
-attended his first Cal game (successfully sleeping through the 1st half)

Favorite things: LOVES the cats, laughs and laughs and stops what he's doing to watch them. (Rusty is completely docile when Peter grabs him.) And Peter is playing with toys more than ever before.  It's such a joy to watch him have fun. It's such a cute age-- pretty much everything makes him really happy.

Rose just finished a growth spurt, during which she ate adult portions of food 3x/day and grew over an inch in about 6 weeks-- wow. Her favorite thing of late is her step-stool ("standing stool"), which she uses to acquire food in the kitchen "by myself!"
