Half a Birthday

Rosie is 6 months old!  Half a year sounds like a lot.  26 weeks sounds like so little.  But however you look at it, time is flying.

(Stats to come. We don't have another pediatric visit for another couple weeks!)

 Recent developments: rolling over in both directions, purposefully, to get to interesting things.  (Like the cat, who is surprisingly tolerant.)  Also, seemingly multi-syllabic babbling.  (She laughs when we repeat it back to her, which makes me wonder if I've just told a funny joke in baby-language.)  Rose is also growing a lot more hair all of a sudden, though mostly on the very top of her head, and we're waiting for the sides to catch up!  Finally, Rose is obsessed with scrunching and eating paper, and gets mad if we dare to read the newspaper or open the mail in front of her without sharing it with her.

But her favorite activity of all is attempting to eat her feet,

preferably both at once.
