One year old!

Peter is 1! What a year it's been.

Official stats:  32.5 in (98th%) and nearly 25 lbs (75th%).
This month: Peter has given up the army (belly) crawl in favor of quick hands-and-knees crawling. He cruises around quickly holding onto the furniture.  He seems in no hurry to walk independently which is fine with us. He increasingly declares what he wants and is harder to distract if we say no.
He loves vehicles of all kinds, particularly fire trucks. (I'm convinced this is genetic; at the same age we offered Rose vehicles to play with, and she wasn't that interested.) He doesn't want to stop playing, even while nursing!
(Note fire truck in hand below.)
He has said many words one time. It's hard to tell if they're intentional or coincidental until he repeats them, but he does reliably repeat "mama," "dada," "car," "go-go" (dog), "woof," "ball," and "nye-nye" (milk).
