Happy birthday, Rose!

We had a low-key day for Rosie's 2nd birthday, but we still managed to eat birthday cake (or, in truth, pumpkin pie). 

By the 3rd time she requested that her candles be reignited, she had mastered blowing them out.

Since last Christmas, she has made great strides in figuring out how to open presents.

We look forward to celebrating with all the grandparents and her auntie next week!  In the meantime, here are the latest stats for this 2-year-old.

Height:  36.5 inches (98th %)  /  Weight:  33 lbs (99th %)

Wearing 3-year-old clothes!

Speech:  Rosie regularly gives us 5-6 word sentences, but her current favorite is, "No, Mommy [or Daddy], no!"  She mostly narrates the world around her ("Kitty cat eat dinner!"  "I drink water in pink cup!")  She really loves to sing songs, which is quite adorable to behold.
