Rose is four months old today. It's amazing how she's developed in such a short time, and we enjoy every milestone, large and small. She has her 4-month pediatric appointment later this week, so we'll soon have the latest stats on her size, but in the meantime, here's a peek into the life of Rose as a 4-month-old.
Most exciting new trick: Rosie rolled over! From her tummy to her back. She did this twice last week in quick succession but hasn't repeated the feat since. I'm almost starting to question whether I made it up, but I know she'll do it again when she's ready. (And we'll hopefully get it on video, too!)
Other fun: Rose has discovered her ears-- she enjoys feeling them and pulling on them with her hands. She has also learned how to stick out her tongue which makes us giggle and only encourages her further. Finally, she has lost her cute, snorty, newborn baby cry in favor of a full-powered wail (and also happy screeches).
